A stupid woman
Rose wanted a job when she was seventeen. It was not difficult to find a job then in the country. One day Rose was looking for a job. She went to many offices but she didn’t like any of them. When she went into one of the offices, she saw a board: This office needs a typist. Rose was excited. She went to the manager’s office. The manager was writing something . Rose knocked at the door. The manager raised his head: “ Do you need a typist?” asked Rose. “Yes!” the manager said. Rose jumped up and clapped her hands. She couldn’t help saying: “ ok! I will take this job. How much will you pay me?” the manager thought for a few seconds and said: “I will pay you twenty-seven dollars in the first three months. Then I will pay you thirty dollars.” Rose smiled and answered: “Great, I will come and work here three months later .” The manager frowned and he was speechless.
XMy Bedroom
My bedroom is very big.
The walls are white and blue. The curtains are blue too. There is a big window on the wall, so my bedroom is also very bright. There are some photos on the wall. They’re very beautiful.
In the middle of the room, there is my bed. It’s not so big, but it’s very comfortable. Every night, I lay on the bed and have a good dream.
On the right of the bed, there is my desk and chair. They’re in front of the window. My computer is on the desk. There is a lamp on the desk, too. I can do my homework here and play computer games.
My bookshelf is on the left of the bed. There are a lot of storybooks and picture books in the shelf. I like them very much.
Not everyone has a bedroom. I’m very lucky, because I have a very beautiful bedroom. I’ll try my best to keep it clean and tidy.
Baking a cake
Anna is girl. She is eleven years old. On Saturday her friend Kerry gives her a call.
“Anna, what do you have to do today,” asks Kerry.
“I don’t have to do anything. But I want to watch TV and play the computer games all day.” says Anna.
“Let’s bake a cake!” says Kerry.
“Sure. But you can’t go to my home and bake a cake.” says Anna.
“Ok, you can go to my home” says Kerry.
Anna is happy. Because she wants to bake a cake.
“Where are going?” asks Anna’s mother.
“I want to go to the Kerry’s home.”
“Ok, but you have to do anything.” says Anna’ mother.
“What?” asks Anna.
“First, you have to feed Mary (The cat in Anna’ home) .Next you have to tidy your room. Finally, you have to do homework .”says Anna’s mother.
“En…ok, I can go to Kerry’s home after lunch. I would tell her .” says Anna.
“Kerry, I can’t go to your home now. But I can go to your home after
lunch.” says Anna.
“Sorry! My home don’t have flour. We can’t bake a cake together.” says Kerry.
“Oh…Ok. Bye.”“Bye.” Now, Anna is not happy.
XMy New Teacher
My new teacher is science teacher. He’s very strong. He has a big mouth, two big ears, two big eyes and a not too big and not too small nose. He often wears a black new shirt and brown pants, with two big shoes.
My science teacher is very kind. And he is very smart, isn’t he? Today, we have science class. We are very happy. Because he is so funny. Who is he? He’s a Mr. Zhou .
XMy May Day
Hello, today is May Day. I and My father, mother and sister went shopping. We bought, lollipops, ice creams, cornflakes, toasts, butter, orange, milk and rolls. And my mother bought toys for me. Such as: train, ball, balloon, car, doll, plane and skateboard. After that we went to zoo. I saw rabbit, tigers, snails, and lions, hamsters, budgies and zebras. My sister asked me “what do your like?” I answered “I like skipping rope. That’s very nice.” She said “Here is you prize, Sunny!” “Oh, thank you! I love it!” I shouted. We sat under a tree. After lunch we drank some milk.
Today I am very happy!
